Protect identities
Remove names, faces, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, license plates, employee IDs, order or account numbers, signatures, QR codes, barcodes, and other identifying details. Do not identify minors.
Keep it firsthand and supportable
Submit only experiences you directly observed or facts reflected in authentic records you are authorized to use. Clearly separate direct observation, business policy, records, inference, and opinion.
Keep evidence proportionate
Evidence should address the disputed event. Do not upload full customer files, credit applications, identification, payment information, medical information, personnel records, or unrelated history. Hater Rater may request a narrowly redacted excerpt instead.
Keep it clean
No threats, slurs, bullying, humiliation, sexual content, intimidation, targeted harassment, celebration of harm, or attacks based on protected characteristics. Critique conduct and credibility—not appearance, identity, disability, family, or private life.
No manipulation
No fabricated or altered evidence, impersonation, undisclosed paid submissions, brigading, purchased votes, bot activity, or instructions to contact or punish a person or business off-platform.
Enforcement
We may redact, label, restrict, reject, correct, remove, or preserve content for review. Serious safety issues may result in immediate restriction. Repeated abuse may result in loss of submission or participation privileges.
