TikTok Pixel and optional analytics
Hater Rater uses the TikTok Pixel only after you affirmatively accept optional tracking. The pixel may measure page views and successful jury signups. We do not intentionally send your email address through the pixel. Depending on applicable law, advertising measurement may be considered targeted advertising or “sharing.” You may decline without losing access to the site.
How we use information
We use information to deliver requested updates, operate and secure the service, review and moderate cases, prevent abuse, respond to rights requests, maintain records of consent, and understand campaign performance where permission has been given.
When information is disclosed
Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, email, security, analytics, and professional-service providers working for Hater Rater; disclosed when legally required; or used to protect people, rights, safety, and the integrity of the service. We do not publish a submitter’s contact details as part of a case.
Retention and minimization
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, safety and dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate recordkeeping. Sensitive evidence should not be submitted unless specifically requested. Unneeded material may be deleted or de-identified.
Your choices and rights
You may decline optional tracking, unsubscribe from email, and request access, correction, deletion, or review of information associated with you by using Report a Concern. Rights vary by location, and we may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
Security
We use access restrictions, secure transmission, limited collection, service-provider controls, monitoring, and incident-response practices designed for the information we hold. No system is completely secure. Hater Rater’s internal security program must be reviewed as the service and data practices change.
Children
Hater Rater is not intended for children under 13, and case submission is limited to adults. Do not submit identifying information about minors.
Policy changes
We will post material changes with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice where required.
